True Lies Ltd is the production company of Edinburgh based director, producer and writer Perry O’Halloran. Perry works with production companies, agencies and organisations across the UK and internationally, joining established teams on individual commissions or bringing together a crew to deliver a complete production.

With over fifteen years’ experience across television, comedy, documentary, corporate films and international live productions, Perry combines creative direction and writing with practical production leadership. His work includes directing ITV’s HOW, writing for Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer’s Shooting Stars and ten years producing, directing and editing training dramas for the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

As Edinburgh International Festival’s in-house Digital Content Producer and Director, Perry led crews and delivered films across its programme, including international interviews with leading figures in the performing arts. He also independently developed, produced and directed Lumination – For the Love of Cinemas, released on Amazon Prime Video. His recent television experience includes welfare producing on Netflix’s Love Is Blind UK.

Whether working within another company’s production team or leading a commission through True Lies, Perry brings experience in shaping stories, directing performances and guiding projects from concept to delivery. He is available for freelance directing, producing and writing commissions, alongside projects commissioned directly by clients.
